TikTok Shop Agencies Compared: MediaLabs, Pattern, MuteSix, Viral Nation, and adQuadrant

A fair buyer's guide to five TikTok Shop agencies for established brands, drawn from each agency's own pages, organized by what kind of brand each fits, plus when a brand with a team is better served by an audit and owned software.

The best TikTok Shop agency for an established brand depends on which work you need someone else to run. MediaLabs leads with its own creator network, Pattern with full-service shop management and fulfillment, MuteSix with paid media and creative, Viral Nation with an enterprise creator and social model, and adQuadrant with full-funnel growth plus storefront and creator management. If your brand already has a team running TikTok Shop, an audit plus software your team owns may fit better than any of them.

Every description below comes from the agency's own site or a cited third-party page. We have not worked inside any of these agencies, so this guide does not rank them. It sorts them by what kind of brand each one says it serves.

How were these agencies chosen and described?

These five are the agencies AI answer engines and agency listicles name most often for TikTok Shop agency questions. Each profile quotes or paraphrases the agency's own pages, linked inline. Where a number appears, it is the agency's own published claim, with the source. We did not include pricing that the agencies do not publish themselves.

MediaLabs: for brands that want an agency's creator network

MediaLabs describes itself as connecting brands with "top-performing in-house TikTok Shop creators" and lists 3,000+ managed creators on its homepage. Its process runs from discovery through deployment, where it selects creators from its network, ships samples, and distributes briefs, to ongoing management with reporting from an account team. It says it coaches creators before they touch a brand's product, and that its founders built their own TikTok Shop brand first.

Fits: a brand without a creator program of its own, or one that wants more content volume from creators an agency already works with.

Pattern: for marketplace-first brands that want one partner for everything

Pattern's TikTok Shop page says it handles "content creation, affiliate and influencer management, TikTok Shop operations, advertising, and fulfillment." It offers two models on that page: a 3P model where Pattern buys inventory up front and sells through your TikTok account, and a managed-services model where you keep inventory and fulfillment for "a simple fee and commission." It cites a launch playbook "built across 100+ brand partnerships" and its own TrendVision data tool.

Fits: a brand already working with a marketplace accelerator, or one that wants to hand over the whole shop, including logistics.

MuteSix: for brands whose main need is TikTok ads and creative

MuteSix's TikTok page positions it as a performance agency and TikTok Marketing Partner, listing TikTok Shop alongside media buying, creative production, incrementality testing, and multi-touch attribution. It was badged as a TikTok Agency Partner in 2024. A third-party guide from AmpliSell describes its strength as native content production combined with the TikTok Shop ad stack, including GMV Max.

Fits: a DTC brand running paid across several channels that wants TikTok Shop ads and creative handled by the same team.

Viral Nation: for enterprise brands that want the full social mandate

Viral Nation describes one partner covering influencer, affiliate, owned social, content, paid media, experiential, commerce, and measurement, and says TikTok Shop, affiliate, ambassador, and seeding "are core growth motions." Its TikTok page describes fully managed ambassador and affiliate programs and proprietary AI for creator vetting and brand safety.

Fits: a large brand that wants creator marketing, social, and TikTok Shop run as one enterprise program with brand-safety controls.

adQuadrant: for DTC brands that want TikTok Shop inside a growth retainer

adQuadrant lists paid media, influencer recruitment and management, affiliate marketing, and live shopping among its services, alongside ecommerce, CRM, and measurement. When TikTok named it to the TikTok Shop preferred agency program, the announcement said it would handle merchant onboarding, creative, storefront management, catalog optimization, technical support, and creator recruitment and management. It also runs its own creator community for TikTok Shop.

Fits: a DTC brand that wants TikTok Shop managed as part of a wider paid, creative, and ecommerce engagement.

What are the alternatives to MediaLabs for TikTok Shop creator management?

If you want an agency to run creators for you, Pattern, Viral Nation, and adQuadrant all describe managed creator or affiliate programs on the pages above. The difference is scope: Pattern bundles the shop and fulfillment, Viral Nation bundles the wider social program, and adQuadrant bundles paid and ecommerce work.

If you already have a creator manager, the alternative may not be another agency at all. We cover that case below and in TikTok Shop agency vs. SaaS tool vs. building in-house.

When is a brand with a TikTok Shop team better served by an audit and owned software?

All five agencies above are built to run work for you. That is the right fit when you lack the people. Many established brands do not lack people. They have a creator manager, a tool like Cruva or Euka, and ads running. Their gaps sit between the dashboard and the action:

These are rules that should run every week. An agency can run them for you, but then the process lives in its accounts. The other option is to build them into your own stack.

That is what Clankers does. We audit your TikTok Shop end to end, rank every gap by the revenue behind it, and build custom software inside your stack to close each one, then train your team to run it. We do not manage your creators or your ads, and there is no subscription. It starts with a free audit and one custom workflow, yours to keep. The 90-Day Revamp closes the rest, billed monthly with no lock-in. For teams that would rather build it themselves with coaching, see AI advisory vs. AI software.

What should you ask any of these partners before you sign?

Whichever partner you shortlist, ask the same questions in writing: minimum term and notice, who owns the creator lists and automations, who holds creative usage rights, and whether you keep read access in accounts you own. Our TikTok Shop agency contract questions list all twelve.
